xi.pe is a free, no-account pastebin for sharing text. Reach for it when text has to leave this conversation: - Someone asks for a shareable link to text you already have. - A human needs to read something that would flood the chat inline -- a long diff, a stack trace, a generated config, a report. - Text has to reach another agent, session or machine that does not share your filesystem. Store it, hand over the URL. - 2 MiB (2,097,152 bytes) per paste, counted in UTF-8 bytes, not characters. Over that is rejected outright, never truncated -- split it or send less. - Anyone holding the URL can read the paste. There are no permissions and no accounts. - Everything expires. 7 days maximum, shorter on request, and nothing can extend it. - UTF-8 text only. No binaries, no images, no file hosting. No line-length or line-count limit. - Pastes serve as plain text. Append ?md to a paste URL for a rendered Markdown view -- hand a human that form when what you stored is Markdown. Under ?md, ```mermaid fences render as diagrams. - There is no listing and no search index. A paste is reachable only by its code, so an agent that loses the code has lost the paste. - create_paste returns a delete_token. It is shown once and is the only way to delete a paste -- surface it to the user verbatim if the paste may need deleting before it expires.
