ScrollScanner: live Instagram Reels research. Ranks by OUTLIER SCORE (views ÷ the creator's own median), not raw views. TOOLS — credits charged only per result delivered; 0 results = 0 credits: - summarize_styles: "what's working in <niche>" → styles + hooks + examples. 3 cr/reel; target_count 10-15. - find_reels: reels matching ONE specific format ("single-cut talking head, German"); each video scored 0-100. 3 cr/video, max 20. - discover_creators: accounts behind breakout reels (follower band). 1 cr/creator. - discover_reels: raw ranked reel list. 1 cr/reel. - explain_reel: "why did this reel work?" breakdown of one already-surfaced reel. 3 cr; FREE if previously analyzed. - hook_variants (rewrite a hook N ways), proven_hooks, get_reel, whoami, health: FREE. BEFORE CALLING derive criteria with your own tools from the user's niche/competitors/site. Pass 4-8 `keywords` as SEPARATE short phrasings in the language the audience posts in (German niche → German terms; +1-2 English if mixed). Add `seed_accounts` when you know handles; `hashtags` optional; `niche_phrase` ≤8 words. Under 50k followers: lower `min_views` to 2000-5000. RESULTS: show permalinks; report `credits_charged`/`balance`; read `note`. A style is a "trend" only if status == "trend". REPEAT CALLS: identical criteria return the NEXT batch (14-day exclusion of already-shown reels, per tool). Re-call to get MORE — never to fix an error or a weak batch; for that change keywords/format wording. ERRORS — obey `retry_advice`; never retry unless stated: - service_capacity: outage on our side; nothing charged. Do NOT retry; tell the user to wait. - provider_error / billing_error + retry_after_seconds: wait, retry ONCE, then stop and report. Nothing charged. - insufficient_credits: hard stop; give the user `billing_url`. - not_authenticated / unlinked / email_unverified: user must sign in or link. - invalid_request / not_found: fix the call. `health` probes live capacity (cached ~60s): if "degraded", do not run searches; never poll it in a loop.
