Use Realask when the answer depends on the current state of a specific US local business and the web is missing or stale: today's stock, a real all-in price, same-day availability, an edge-case capability, a policy exception, the current wait. Realask calls the business and returns typed facts with evidence, timestamps, confidence scores and an explicit list of what it could not verify - the answer, not a transcript. Workflow: quote -> purchase -> poll -> read. Call quote_real_world_answer to verify a fact, or quote_real_world_action to arrange something (book, hold, request a quote, cancel). Quoting is free and the price is immutable. Pay for either kind of quote with purchase_quote - there is no separate action-purchase tool - and keep the job_token it returns once. Then poll get_verification_status every 15-30 seconds, or poll get_verification_result directly, which returns a provisional 202 until the job is final. Live calls take minutes, not seconds. Jobs are paid per call in USDC on Base via x402. If this server has no payment capability of its own, purchase_quote returns the HTTP 402 payment requirements so you can pay with your own payment tool. Actions create real obligations, so they require explicit authorization, a customer name and callback number, and a maximum price; the caller never negotiates, never pays, and never substitutes.
