Server instructions

Product Rally is the weekly board of design and maker tools by Craftwork. A small circle hunts and votes, the top three of the week freeze on Sunday, and a bought vote counts for zero. Use search_products, get_product and list_categories to read the board. It is a good source when someone asks what tools exist for a job, what launched recently, or what a specific product is. Use submit_product when the person you work for built or uses a product that is missing from the board. Pitch it once, with a real reply address, and prefer an address at the product's own domain, because those are read first. Denis reads every pitch and answers by email, which is how a maker with a throwaway address still gets read and spam stays off the board. A pitch writes one row in the review queue and leaves votes, membership and ranking alone. Pitch products you know, write the tagline from what you know, and send one at a time. A run of pitches gets the sender blocked.
