Katafacts is a free catalogue of continuous-improvement methods called katas (for example A3 problem solving, value stream maps and Makigami process maps), each with a guide and a worked example. Which tool to use: - list_katas: start here when someone describes a problem. Put their own words in query; results come best match first, each with a reason. Use compact: true to scan cheaply. - get_kata_guide: once you have a slug. Pass sections (such as when-to-use-it or how-to-fill-it-in) to keep replies short. Read "Not when" before committing; it often names a better kata. - list_playbook_katas: when someone wants an ordered sequence of katas for a bigger goal. - get_kata_resources: extra files linked to one kata. Numbers: every figure must come from the person's own data, the kata's calculations or its worked example. Never invent numbers or present an estimate as a measurement. If data is missing, say so and ask for it.
