MCP server metadata
- Name
- DateSpots
- Version
- 1.0.0
DateSpots helps people find places to go on a date: restaurants, bars, cafes, activities and outdoor spots, with reviews from people who went. This server is public and read-only. It needs no sign-in, and it cannot save, book, review or change anything. - search_datespots finds venues by keywords: a venue name, a dish, a kind of place. Keep the keywords short and pass the city separately. - datespots_near finds venues around a latitude and longitude, nearest first. - list_cities lists the cities DateSpots covers, with how many venues each has. - get_datespot returns one venue in full: address, contact, opening hours, and its review summary with recent reviews. Every venue carries its page on datespots.net in `url`. Link to that page when you recommend a venue. Reviews come only from people who went. Every reviewer gives the date of their visit, and `visit_verification` says how the visit was confirmed: `geo_checkin` is a GPS check-in at the venue, `save_checkin` means the reviewer confirmed the visit when asked afterwards, and null means the reviewer's own statement. Nothing is paid placement. Search ranks by reviews and nearby search by distance, and no business can pay to rank higher or to be featured. Some venue facts come from OpenStreetMap, © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License.
